Pool Net vs Pool Fence: Find the Safest Option

Any time a family has a swimming pool in their yard, safety becomes a very important issue. How do you keep the smallest family members from toddling over the edge? Or how do you keep the family pooch out of the water following a strong chemical shock? Even homes without children or pets can be at risk of liability if their pool is uncovered. Families typically turn to one of two safety options: swimming pool safety fences and swimming pool safety nets. Both of these safety solutions are simple, easy to use, and (when used properly) very effective at keeping your loved ones safe. But which one is better? Let’s take a look at pool nets vs. pool fences so you can determine which safety tool is best for your pool and your family. About Pool Nets A pool safety net is a large, slightly elastic net that spans the entire surface of your pool, creating a barrier just above the water. Most nets are made from durable polyethylene netting and secured to the pool deck with anchors drilled into the pool deck. This safety solution is fairly easy to install and remove, and the sturdy material makes it an

A Comparison of Pool Fence Metals

Responsible pool ownership means maintaining a pool fence or safety barrier around your pool to prevent children and animals from entering. More than that, it’s the law nearly everywhere in the country. That fence can be made from a lot of different materials. If you’re looking to invest in a metal fence around your pool, you probably have a few questions. How tall should it be? At least four feet. Does it have to go around the whole pool? Absolutely. What kind of metal should I use? Join us as we take an in-depth look at 3 types of metal pool fence. Mesh with Aluminum Frames Mesh fencing is one of the most popular types of pool fencing available today. This fence is made from panels of ultra-strong mesh material suspended between aircraft-grade aluminum poles. These panels attach to one another — complete with a self-closing and lockable gate — to create a barrier around your pool that is sturdy and strong, but also removable if necessary. Many homeowners opt for this style because of its simple, yet innovative design. The mesh panels are completely customizable, which makes designing around irregularly-shaped pools much easier. Also, the wire mesh is specially

The Ideal Height for a Pool Fence

A tall pool fence deters children and others who are at high risk of injury or drowning from entering your pool area unsupervised. The ideal pool fence height for a tall enclosure is determined by several factors, from state laws that protect millions of people to homeowners association (HOA) bylaws that concern the welfare of just a few. Choosing a height is like answering a multiple choice question in which only one answer may be right for your pool. Permanent Pool Fence vs. Removable Pool Fence Additionally, your pool may have multiple pool fences, such as a permanent fence and a removable pool fence. Because various levels of governance require homeowners to erect permanent pool fences and also because many residents require a removable pool fence to help protect loved ones, let’s examine information that can help suggest the ideal height for both types of fences.  The Ideal Height for a Temporary Pool Fence A pool fence height of four or five feet is also a popular choice for a temporary residential pool fence. Color Variations

Colors on your screen or brochure may not match the actual color of your product.

Due to the many variations in monitors, phones, and browsers, color samples and product examples may appear different on different screens. Computers and mobile devices are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. The same is true for printed items such as brochures and other sales literature.

In addition, the colors of our products photograph differently under different lighting conditions. For example, photos taken in full sunlight will vary from photos taken on a cloudy or overcast day. Similarly, shadows from nearby objects can affect the color and transparency of our products. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.

Colors will vary from batch to batch.

Many of our products’ materials are not available through typical stores and vendors and therefore must be custom manufactured specifically for our use. In order to control costs and provide you with the best value possible, our raw materials are produced in large batches and can often take several months to receive. The colors of our materials can, and often do, vary slightly from batch to batch. Although we make every effort to minimize color variations, we cannot be responsible for these differences when they occur. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.

Color names are subjective and may not be what you think the color should be.

For example, we use the name “putty” to describe some of our products. Your idea of the color “putty” may be different than someone else’s idea of “putty”. In addition, products may have the same color name but may not be the exact same color. For example, we have different shades of “black”. Please do not order using color names as your only guide. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.

Inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.

If it is important that your product be an exact color or shade, it is highly recommended that you inspect the actual product prior to its installation and address any concerns with your local independent installer. Most independent installers do not offer refunds or accept returns due to color variations.
